Looking to repair or find tachometer

2006 Yamaha 230 SX…Think Beede made the original tachometer before Faria bought them out. Unfortunately Faria says no they don’t repair old Beede products. Haven’t found a gauge repair shop yet with any confidence for repair…or even a salvage yard with any matches. Of course Yamaha discontinued them years ago. The tach is not digital but is an analog. Does anyone have any thoughts? Thank you!

Maybe check Great Lakes Skipper's website. I scored a pair of black faced tachs from him a few years back for my 2010 - 212X.

Yes did check with them…zippo. Both EBay & internet empty. Finding old discontinued Yamaha parts really difficult. Boat running fine…just would like two functional tachometers. Hoping for miracle at this point! Yamaha part # F1C-U8245-30-00. Thanks for your help!

I got lucky and found one relatively cheap on ebay. Set up a "saved search" and you'll get notified if one pops up for sale.

One is non functional the other just barely as needle appears stuck at times…but good feedback more research to do…will check back. Thanks all!
