makin molds for dry storage console hatches...<LS 2000/LX-AR 210 windshield hatch>

put the latch in and just test fit in the hole so far so good... trim will be here late this week or early next... plenty of time to get the other hatch halves ready...

i have no desire to make them if i cant get my buddy to make a few more sets, im prolly just gonna sell the molds... I made three hatches for myself. two replacements and a spare...
 
buna/Neoprene edge trim came today... I think its gonna work... gotta find my tube of 3M trim and weather strip adheasive...

better than new I'd say... as soon as I buff the gelcoat shiney...

quick update epoxied the next set together... ill clean them up tomorrow and fit the latch.... trying to make them the same LOL

ok 2 of 2 ready for final buff and trim and install... still way cheaper than buying a new boat that dont meet my needs...

good to meet you today Mike... Sorry I didn't have more time to chat but I was doing a pre purchase inspection on that little hotrod offshore boat... turns out its an ex FWC boat... LOL need to replace the the torsion axles before i can drag i home...

ok necessity is the mother of invention... or at least copying... i had one cover out of 4 that had not failed to pull a mold for making these outta fiberglass... so were pullin top and bottom half molds for these and I'll mill some solid bar 6061-t6 stock to bond in to tap for screws... we'll bond the upper and lower together with Six10...

Hi, I desperately need one of these, one of mine flew off when my boat shop was testing the boat and it got destroyed. I have not been able to get an answer from any local fabrication company. Please let me know if you and your friend are still making these! You’re our last hope.
