Megaware Keel Guard Installed

Got the boat out of hibernation this am and installed my first "mod", a 10' megaware keelguard in charcoal. Did most of it myself with a little help from the wifey who has a straighter eye than I. Took about an 1.5 hours. It's not exactly perfect but pretty stinking good and think will really be good insurance. Also got her washed and shined(using Lucas oil slick mist) tomorrow will detail the inside and then it should be water ready.

I put the KeelGuard on my '11 242 about 4 years ago. The adhesive gave up on a few sections last year so I pulled it off completely. I called the company and they told me that should not have happened. I had a new one at my doorstep a few days later. They certainly honor their warranty so I will stick with them. No pun intended.

Does your boat have the articulated keel? Wondering if this will fit the same on a 2018 242x. Thanks!

@swatski Great looking install on that Gator Guards KeelShield!

Ready to be protected for years to come - @jethrof16 I'm confident you'll love yours. I've had one on all my boats - would never leave the trailer without one.
