Music Subscriptions???

Thanks for the input guys. Keep it coming.

Looks like lots of people like Spotify. i see they have a free 3 month trial. Might do that and see where I land.

You could also try it completely for free without entering CC data to see if you like it.

We have spotify premium family, apple family & xm in the vehicles. Wife and daughter listen to most of the music, I'm a cnbc junkie.

apple music family. Had it before it was even apple... it was beats.

Pleased with it.

Tried spotify before apple... was good as well. but my bank didn't like something about their sub. flagged as international. Had that not happened, might have been a spotify user....

we have sirius in one of the cars, and amazon with prime as well.

those are fine as well, but, being that we are an Iphone family, its going to be hard to beat Apple music....

Ewww MSM dolts. I suddenly feel the need to take a cold shower and forget I saw this comment.

Pandora offers two different levels of pay service, $5 & $10. I use the $5/month plan. It allows you to download your 4 most-listened stations for offline use. Zero commercials. I have the app on my phone, just set it to offline use and you won't be using any data, and I run it via bluetooth to any vehicle that allows bluetooth music, which conveniently includes my boat. There are spots around my usual boating areas that get little to no reception, and piss-poor radio reception, so this method works out perfectly for me on the boat, as well as driving to/from work and driving all day for work purposes.

If you're already used to Pandora, for a minimal amount you can use what you're already familiar with. Fire up the app on your computer, bring up the Pandora app, and you can use the "Add Variety" option to avoid data usage as well...

Very interesting thread. I have been very happy with Amazon's radio stations (mainly Top Country and Classic Rock channels) but will have to give Spotify a shot. I tried Apple music but dumped it after 90 days. Maybe it works well for other genres, but for country and rock I thought it provided a very bland playlist.

In the car I listen to a lot of SiriusXM.

CNBC is all business dude, maybe research before typing?

Not all business. Literally reading across their website header will show otherwise. I get it that it's their business branch but still MSM. We will just agree to disagree and leave it at that.

I use Spotify free and AudFree Spotify music converter to download Spotify songs for offline listening. The tool is paid, but I think it is more cost-effective than the monthly subscription fee.:)
