Jacob Eagle (1).JPG 2010-04-06 2010-04-11 001 002.JPG toothless.JPG wow, that was a long road, we started in cub scouts at 6 years old, joined boyscouts at 11 and now 15 he was awared his eagle rank Sunday night in campfire ceremony that I don't have pictures of yet.

Congratulations! Quite an accomplishment! My son started boy scouts this last month.

Wow, congrats - that's an awesome accomplishment he can carry with him for life.

Congrats! I got mine 20 years ago.

[flag]That is AWESOME, So good to see kid in scouts and doing well. Both of you should be very proud

Outstanding! I have an Eagle Scout myself. 25 years old and a good young man if I do say so myself.

Congrats. That is a large accomplishment. Your son must have a great supporting troop and parents. Eagle Scout is no solo journey.

Congrats! My son got his last May. He is now a proud Marine. He got a rank advancement upon graduating boot camp because of his Eagle.

Great job! You should be very proud.

Congrats to your son and your family!

I think the furthest I got was cub scout, but I enjoyed every second of it and have great memories and still have my pinewood derby car.

Congratulations Scott, and to your son as well! Both of my boys earned their Eagle about the same age, and they are now 31 and 32. It is definitely a road only the determined and focused follow...and as said above, that journey always includes dedicated leaders and parents! Post up the Eagle Award Ceremony pics when you get a chance! What was his Eagle project?

This an incredible achievement. I too am an Eagle Scout and it has opened countless door for me. I'm sure it will do the same for your son.

Congrats! My son is about a year away. Trying to finish "personal management" and "personal fitness" now. Sometimes it feels like I'm trying to put toothpaste back in the tube. LOL

Congratulations!

My son's paperwork is turned in. His favorite merit badge to work on was water sports, of course!

Congrats to your son and family. Nice work sticking with it.

IMG_8994.JPG Picture 109.jpg Picture 034.jpgThanks for the kind words, For his project he fixed up pavilion we use at a local park. There was alot of erossion starting to undercut the slab. He dug it out and added a border and gravel to help stop the errosion and it being a mud pit when you walked up to it in the rain. We had family take pictures at the ceremony but of course none turned out good. We had it at night at the pavillion with the campfire. We gave him a tomahawk with this name and date engraved on it as well as the nights camping etc.. written on the handle, we had the other scouts sign it on the back,

OMG!! CONGRATS!! That's a huge accomplishment...you must be so proud:)

Congrats!

Not a Scouting family ourselves, but I understand what goes into getting to that level. Well done!

Congrats on the accomplishment. Very impressive. I'm sure you're proud.
