Nc shake down run (April 21 2018 - All Welcome to join!)

Here is the latest as of today for next weekend. I'll try and call the Lamplighter tomorrow and see if and when they can accommodate this many. If they can't accommodate us until later in the day (1p-3p, etc.) is anybody opposed to a later lunch? We could start the official run later but anybody that wanted to dunk earlier and explore the lake solo certainly could.

11 boats; 37+ people.

Confirmed (Headcount)

Later lunch works fine with me. Although I'm not opposed to splitting the group for lunch either, 47 good folks is difficult for anyone to accommodate.

I’m game for splitting up need be. Just throwing it out ther but is there like a beach where we can back in the boats in shallow water and bring out the grills?

On the other hand if the temperature doesn’t get warmer I’ll probably loose my crew along with my spring pass, lol

There is an island that everyone likes to go to... We have been there once but depending on who's out there its not family friendly.. Lol if u know what I mean.

Looks like I am not going to be able to make this weekend. Enjoy time on the water!

I wont be able to make it either. Wife couldnt find a baby sitter and i hurt my back on saturday in a brutal battle with a scupper valve.

UPDATED ITENERARY!
So here is the latest update as of Monday 4/16. The Lamplighter can accommodate us but they have another party from 11a-1p. After speaking with @bronze_10 we feel the best bet is to leave NutBush at 12:00p and then we can reserve the banquet room at the Lamplighter from 2p-4p which can easily accommodate us all. The charge for the room is $50 which I will cover; if anybody wants to donate a few bucks it would be welcome but certainly not necessary or expected.

By leaving earlier it will allow the weather to warm up a little more that day but still give us plenty of time to get back to the dock that afternoon. If anybody wants to dunk their boats earlier and explore on their own they can; that is likely what we will be doing.

Saturday April 21st
11:30 - Dunk the boats in the lake
12:00p - Be in the water at NutBush ramp and ready to go
1.5 hour - Cruise to Clarksville, VA
2:00-4:00 - Lunch at Lamplighter (we don't have to stay until 4:00 if we are done earlier)
1.5 hour - Cruise to NutBush
5:30 - Be back at NutBush no later than 5:30

If anybody needs to cancel please let me know so we can keep the Lamplighter up to speed on our headcount.

Looking forward to seeing/meeting you all!

Thanks for working all this out @AndyD!! Sounds great. We can all be in one room and can mingle.. . Where its not cold and windy!
We unfortunately are going to have to back out. Will make the Charleston run for sure.

Anyone heading to myrtle the following week? We are going down for the weekend to try and hang out on the ICW for the Airshow and do a little fishing.
