I did find out just before purchase, that the reading I saw on generator hours was wrong, and that it had 127.2 hours on it. But that is still uncommonly LOW!
I figured you were, that's why I said it's probably a dumb question. Just thought I'd ask if there was another option where you're going. I can't imagine it here, all our ramps are way too tight.

We have one of these kohler generators at work that we use out on the research boats. I think it's a 10kw. It just turned over 1000 hours and still runs like a champ. 127 is nothing on a diesel generator.
Stuck with two big issues but getting them solved. I hope. Will delay us a day so far.
The ramp at powell is wide enough for 3 semi trucks with 80' houseboats to make a u-turn on the ramp side by side and back into the lake on the ramp! It's big!

First issue was a check engine light that I had Cummins service rad the codes. Was a turbocharger speed issue. They found the turbo speed sensor wire chaffed, Probably due to heat. Had to order the part cost me a day but we're back on the road!
Yeah @Murf'n'surf , Clara was reminding me of the Trojan we had for a year. Nothing but problems and no reward. I am hoping this experience turns around. But if you can't get where you want to go in the timeframe you have, it won't be for us.
