Official? What ‘21 are you buying and what price/freebies did you get thread...

Yeah stickers come off immediately and we're gonna do BRE livery with hot pink.

sorry, I was making breakfast :) here ya go:

when I was out this am I checked out a 242x. There’s a defined ‘rim’ around the bow. So we’re going to wrap the topside of the bow from windshield forward in hot pink then drop off the 2 stripes at the same angle, also in hot pink, basically mimicking the blue hood in this pic. If moms wants to continue the strips all the way down or break them up with a second color, it’s up to her. Where BRE MAZDA is written, we‘d letter our boat name “SIMPLE CUB”.
The original BRE Livery was on these scca race cars, the Datsun 510:

Ourlee, I'm up north jersey by you. I will be probably docking on green wood lake but will be trailering to Hopatcong, Wallenpaupack and Lake George.

I would dock on Hopatcong but its super pricey and can get really busy in the coves. Better to just drop it in a few time a year there.

Just heard back from Jim at Patsy's. Hoping he can clarify pricing and work some magic.

Is it ok to post quotes you get from dealers here?

I did but AFTER I got all my prices. See post 1

Is anyone looking at the 212SD? If so, have you gotten any pricing yet? Is the galvanized trailer an upgrade? I am in the Syracuse, NY area.

I'm in the Syracuse area as well, and bought a 2020 212s from Freemac. They were very straight forward and great to deal with. Just had our 10 hour service done and was in and out in a 2 days.
I would call them up to get quotes.
Where are you planning on boating?

Oneida, skaneateles, old forge. Our only dealers around are Fremac and McMillan in Rochester.

We're on Oneida river and usually go to Oneida lake through the lock. It's a good time. You may also want to check out FairHaven. If Ontario is calm, there are some great places to tie up right near the "bluff's".
We also looked at McMillan, they are good as well, not sure if they are a diamond dealer like Fremac is though.
Good luck on your purchase! Maybe we will see you out on the lake!

Me too . Just northwest. I bought my boat to the city to our west, saved $500 plus better trailer and interest. I drive 30 minutes longer each way for service which is no big deal

Since I am new to this stuff, if you bought your boat elsewhere, can you not have it serviced locally (different dealer)? Why drive out of the way for service?

you can have service and warranty work dont at whatever yamaha boat dealer you want. you dont have to take it where you bought it

Like a car, the dealer you bought it from is more likely to take better care of you. I bought from McMillan. They were significantly less with better trailer and negotiated a better interest rate by 2%. Its an 75 minute drive each way vs 45 min each way, not that big of a deal. I’m mostly on Cross Lake west of Bville but hit up Ontario and finger lakes too

I bought in March, score low 700’s, from Yami got 5.74% for 15y but I plan to pay it off in 7. McMillan called me had a couple chats, one a month before I decided to buy, I liked that. I’ve heard good things from both. My credit union was 5.99 new and 7.99 used, so I went new with Yami at 5.74....and now rates have dropped and my score has gone up a lot. Any dealer will do warranty and service work but probably better where you buy. When I bought it was a buyers market.... now it’s a sellers market. I love my Boat. I get a lot of compliments even though it’s only Yami's base model
