Awesome trip. Looks like you guys had a great time. Weather was really nice Saturday for it. Did you see the horses on Shackleford Banks? Was there the weekend before and they were out in the open all day. If you squint hard enough you can see them in the pic.
Smart move on taking the ocean over to Cape Lookout. The backside of Shackleford near Harker's Island is tough to navigate and gets shallow quick.

we were gonna try to find the channel to get over there to see the horses but once we started looking we realized it was almost 3 oclock and we still had the ride back to new bern.. so we left that one till next time.
 
The time went by too fast
 
Wonder what u got on the way back. At one point we all were really moving when we hit the Neuse. It was real flat compared to the morning.
