Did this since I was 12. I was always envious of hay pickers/ stackers and hay monsters
We called it making hay. Did it every summer in high school. First cutting was the worst ... especially if it got rained on the we had to bail it, stack it on the trailer... just to dump it.

Yeah , that was the sucky part of growing up on the farm. Cattle, hay , water melon,, cantaloupe, tomatoes and pecans. My dad didn't buy a side loader until I went to college. He lost his cheap labor , when my friends and I went off to college.
We split 22 cents a bale 4 ways and tipped the driver if it wasn't pops.
