I agree with @JoeSr. Seems high. I know a lot of guys have said that 200 hours is not a big deal for these engines. I agree. Keep in mind that those are a lot of hours that people have spent on the boat. That's a lot more wear and tear to the fabric, carpet, and all components of the boat. For the price, you are not that far off of a new boat. In my opinion, he needs to come down A LOT or else you should be looking elsewhere.
At the end of the day, it's whatever you feel comfortable with. In the spring there will likely be a lot of boats hitting the market. Time will tell whether we will have another COVID type rush on boats or not. A lot can change in 4-6 months. Just think of where you were in February vs June of this year.
