reverse bucket replacement help

SO i snapped a bolt and its stuck inside my nozzle deflector. its the bolt that the reverse gate screws into deflector to support it. if i cant tap it out i am thinking about just upgrading to the new deflector. Does anyone see why this wouldnt work? would i need to change the reverse gate to the plastic ones now from the metal i have?

You could just drill out and use a bolt on the inside with a nylon nut on the outside. I bet you can drill through it and use an extractor to take out.

Started drilling it out last night... or trying to... that bolt is hard. Going to take to machine shop.

My thought was if I could i might just upgrade to the new 2020 deflector style.

to get the extractor on, to start, you only need the smallest reasonable hole you can make, and then go up from there if needed. Having said that, the machine shop will likely have it out in a jiffy once they get to it.

Did fine docking... idk how it happened I didn't notice it until I went to dock at Port Royale and get kids a snack.

I've never beached the boat. Not real sure how it happened
