Rookie - battery help

Hey all. Purchased a 2019 AR190 a couple of months ago and loving it. Only problem is that my battery almost won't crank after a few hours on the water. I have been too paranoid to turn on the radio as a result. I was using a trickle charger from Harbor Freight and it said fully charged before I take it out. I returned the charger thinking it was the problem. Am I doing it wrong? Do I need a 2nd battery, better charger? Thanks in advance.

Something is wrong if you can't listen to the stock radio system for a few hours. Maybe the battery is defective or wire terminals are not tight?

If you turn off the battery with the switch under the seat, there is little need for a charger. If you keep your boat in a slip you need the have the bilge pump active as a precaution so you need a charger. But if you trailer, just turn off the battery switch and you should be fine for weeks unless you have a bad battery or wiring is not correct.
