Scupper/Drain Tube at Engine Lid Hinge

Found this drain tube clogged and routed to nothing, and shoved up into engine room foam. Gotta love the Yamaha factory...

Anyone know where it’s supposed to route? I’m thinking of finding an extension piece of hose and having it empty down under engines. At its current length it’ll drain water on engine wiring harness.

That appears to be coming from the deck drain, which should lead to the scupper. However, the tube for that is usually the white corrugated one that I see in your engine. I may not be clear where the picture taker is in these pics though so might not be understanding the perspective.

On my 2007 the hinge drain is routed to a drain behind the swimdeck seats, it could be when that extra insulation was added they just let it hang, since there's probably not that much water collecting there,

Ah...I see where this is now. Yes, mine connects to a plug like this as well.
