Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
We are getting an alert on our 2018 Yamaha 242X e series saying seacock valve obstructed but there is still water coming out the two pee holes on the side of the boat. What should we do?
Pee holes are not connected to the ballast . I didn’t get to check but as the bags empty I think it sucks up the side of the bag and the system throws that code . Once this happens it’s difficult to get the water out but if you look in the classifieds you can get the pump jumper cable to energize the pump and empty the water . You would have to fill the bag back to the amount shown on the screen next time out do the operation from the factory that uses timers .
