Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
IMO not a noticeable cooling as compared to carpet but there is a small difference. The biggest difference for me was not stepping on the snaps of the carpet that have been baking in the sun. Those used to hurt. Once there has been significant traffic in and out of the water the SeaDek does a great job at cooling down and also drying quickly. Buy it and don't look back.
I have two seasons on my storm grey seadek and I've never had an uncomfortable temperature on mine. I am in Minnesota but we do get some 90 degree days. This is the best mod I've done, it makes the boat look so good and it eliminates the need to dry out carpet.
