Shelbyville Illinois, July 31th to August 2nd 2015

I just left Nancy a message to see if the Duck Cabin was still available. I hope it is so we can be closer to the party!

@RiverRat , I know it is because I just spoke to her about it. I hope it works out for you so that you are closer and @RampRage doesn't get charged anything.

So who is driving furthest for this trip?
I will exclude myself because of a huge detour to lake Cumberland beforehand, but my travel time is under 3 hours.

Just under 5 hours for us, or so says maps.google.com, anyway

If anyone is interested in using the Lithia Duck Cabin let me know. There are only two of us going on the trip now and no longer need a place that sleeps 8.
Where are you staying now?

She is not driving , but flying from Portland !!! But I think @bobbie

I recall some of you talking of a little golf while in the area. I am happy to put some tee times together for Fri or Sat. Please send me a message of what day and time works best for you if interested.
Did you get a response on when folks would want to Golf? I would be interested in playing a round, if we have enough people. Hopefully a early tee-time since it will be hot.

The wife vetoed me on Golf. Said it would take up a whole day.

I know who is driving the least! ME! I'm about 10 blocks from the 9th street boat ramp and 8 minutes to my slip at Lithia. :)

After cleaning off the bottom of my boat post 1 season in the water, I don't like it. Jets don't need to sit in water for long and neither does a white gel coat!

Need a lift in the slip or a husband who likes to back down the ramp 10 blocks away!!! Lift is probably less of a hassle...... :p

As for golf @mariahz302, @OperationROL and I talked about trying to carve out time next year for a scramble early one day. This year seems packed with other fun stuff. Don't want you all to need a vacation from your vacation. I for one am putting the email on "out of office reply" and refuse to work with the exception of our big dinner on Saturday. :winkingthumbsup"

We know 007 was looking for Jell-O shots at Yamapalozza. Sorry, we are a pretty far drive.

For Shelbyville though the goal is 12 dozen shots per day, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We'll also plan on having non-alcoholic jello treats for the kids. (Don't want to call them Jello Shots. I can see you parents getting a call from teacher or DCFS asking why your kids were doing Jell-O shots at Shelbyville) I think this year we've perfected the gummy bear in the Jello Treat so they will have an added surprise.

Can't wait!

Oh and jcyamaharider....you can't have the kiddie jello treats! You get the adult ones. Want to see you in the same shape as last year!! Ha!
