Recently, @dan144k recommended I try Shoe-Goo on some tears on my Yamaha boat seats. I was impressed with how it turned out so I decided to see if it would help me with a situation at work.
I have been working in the basement of a large commercial building being constructed and due to the spring rains there is a considerable amount of water pooling on the floor. I would daily come home with wet feet and have to dry out my boots. I have tried mink oil and silicone sprays and other treatments to combat this.
So I took Shoe-Goo and coated my boots about 1-1/2" up being careful to coat the seams. It has been two weeks and I have not had wet feet once. If any of you guys work in the trades or find yourself occasionally having wet feet, I recommend you give this stuff a try.
