Some jack**s stole the plastic cap that covers the brake reservoir over the weekend. Not sure what to call that or where to buy it at. If anyone know where I can pick up one, please let me know.
2014 AR210 Shoreland'r trailer.

Thank you!

That sucks! Someone did that to my trailer when I was parked at Mammoth Cave on the way to Shelbyville! What you need to figure out is who makes the brake actuator...and then look up their parts availability.

I will have to check the trailer after work to see who made it.
Thank you all!

in the mean time, see if you can at least put some plastic over the opening. brake fluid collects moisture and you don't want it open to the elements any more so than necessary.

Someone just stole mine as well.

Had 2 stolen last year. I ended up buying 4 extra caps for when its get taken again.

Geez of all the things to start stealing!! And I was always worried about the handle on my bow crank and the pin on the swing trailer arm.

It's pretty ridiculous that someone would steal a freaking plastic cap.
Since it's open, how do I access to check the fluid level?

Pry the little lower plastic lid off. Might want to use a clear straw or turkey baster and check color of fluid. It may be rusted.

The little rubber plug that sits just below the plastic cap has a little dip stick built into it. That's how to check the level.

Fwiw. The plastic caps do become brittle over time and sometimes the tabs break off and they pop off all on their own while trailering down the road. But I'm sure some of them grow legs and walk off too ;)

It's amazing what jack holes will steal today. I have extra winch handles and a lock on the swing away pin for this reason. I also always pull off the 5 pin wiring adaptor as I've had those taken last year.

@subysti - How do you have the swing pin lock set up? I like that idea

I just removed the cotter pin on the bottom and put a small lock through the hole instead. It could be smashed off with a hammer I'm sure but it will stop most people and they will move on to another trailer without a lock.

I drill my swing away pin and then a standard lock will fit into it.
