This is Emma, we lost her unexpectedly 2 weeks ago and miss her a lot
Sorry for you loss bud, dogs sure take a large piece of your heart when they pass ☹:(

This is L. She’s by far the most derpy dog I’ve ever had but she’s getting better with age. Like all heelers she is a ball of energy most of the time and just wants to play. When we’re outside her favorite thing to play with is a piece of firewood that she grabbed off the pile. She’ll play with that thing until she falls over from exhaustion 2C19552C-E426-4FA7-B6D9-985F632580EA.jpeg8EDD0FF4-0CAC-45DC-AF22-8BBEB25D14A0.jpeg3560A2E2-4568-465A-9096-E8A7B5AD4816.jpeg982C9E26-19F2-4E7C-9046-35526D706026.jpegE06A014E-F5F4-46E9-B125-B091BCC6D70D.jpeg3BD06226-FBA2-4550-8FC2-4243B5410A0E.jpeg8BBF63E5-B63A-43C3-98F5-F7FC0CEB3FD8.jpeg776EE955-FA85-4FA2-A8E9-33299B2C8AC3.jpeg33D0BD86-0677-4162-BB22-79D1FBDF5F90.jpeg

This is one our 4 farm cats. His name is Daddy Cat & he’s about 14-15yrs old. Greatest cat ever. Calm, loves attention, not very vocal, goes on walks with us miles down the road and just loves people.

All our dogs are rescued. They are really a great group and we love them all. And, they love the water (Thank GOD!!!)
Picture was taken last year on 7/27/20. They are all still with us.

Gonna need bereavement time when mine go. Sad to think about.
I really did take a week of when my chow chow passed in 2017. First dog I ever owned myself, broke my heart man, Big Kane. Rescued my current dog from the shelter, but he really rescued me after Big Kane's passing.

These are our two labradoodles. Nugget is 2yo and was our first dog as a couple, we've been together for 21 years, it apparently took us a while to make the decision.

Nugget as a pup, 3mo old.

Nugget just shy of 2yo.

She like taking walks when it's cold and raining.

She also likes sitting with us at the dinner table.

And napping with mom.

We then decided that she needed a friend and found her brother Beartholomew (Bear for short), he's currently 4mo old.

He like napping too after trashing the sofa cushions.

But he's cool so I guess we'll keep him.

And everyone tells us we scored big time since they don't mind sharing the same food and water bowls.

Unfortunately we lost our 14 year old Bichon Casper last night. Its been gut wrenching the last 24 hours. He had a seizure yesterday and wouldn't stop trembling. Brought him to the ER and x-ray showed a large tumor in his abdominal cavity. He was silently suffering. He was Jeannine's world. I am hurting for her pain.
We lost our 10 year old Lhasa Apso Teddy Bear in his sleep 5 months ago. Been a shitty year for sure.
They went everywhere with us and i am so thankful we take a million pictures of them

It's very hard losing a beloved pet. But, you must remember the good times, the love they gave back, and how that made you (all) feel. It's better to have love and be loved than to never have that love at all. My wife and I have lost more dogs than we care to think about and it never gets easy. But, we have fond memories of them all and they still make us laugh. They will truly never be forgotten as they will hold a special place ❤ in your heart.
