We switched out the carpet in our MB for GatorStep this season. The main thing my wife immediately noticed was that the boat no longer smelled like wet hot carpet. Also, it doesn't trap little sand particles and bits of hair (two long-haired daughters and a long-haired wife) like can get into the weave of the carpet. And frankly, it just looks cooler!
