Starboard check engine.

Put in new batteries and ran great for one day. Next day go starboard check engine light. Pisser working . Nothing clogged. Motor running slightly rough. Can’t get code . Disconnect batteries to reset. Please help if this has happened to you and got it fixed. Thanks
