I noticed that when I plugged my phone into the MP3 plug that I only had two speakers working. The starboard side, front and back. The port side had no sound. When I unplugged from the MP3 port the speakers worked again. Anyone have an idea why all speakers didn't work using the MP3 port and my phone?

Thanks!

New problem or always do it?
could be a bad patch cord.

Could be a mono patch cord.

Mine did the same thing. I was using a mono cord. Got a new one and problem solved.

@HawkTX ...are you talking about the cord that connects the phone to the MP3 port? If so, what kind of cord am I looking for?

@Jim Robeson yes the cord from your phone to the port is mono. Go to a radio shack and get a stereo one or try a different cord. You can tell the difference by how many rings are around the jack.

Wow!!! That was one fast response... thank you. You should have seen me trying to crawl into the helm area and figure out was wrong. Needles to say this little fat boy didn't fit to good!! Thanks !!!
