I don't know if it my eyes, but when I look at the picture it looks to me that the bulb on the bow is bent to starboard. IDK, maybe the angle of the photo taken as the waterline paint lines are off, but it looks straight on when you look up the bow.

It does, but I suspect it's the angle.

Nah, they just need to lash some two by fours to the tires telephone poles to the propeller. It will walk right out of there.

How about sealing the channel around the ship by flooding barges on both sides, add dirt to seal between barges, then filling in the sealed channel segment with water to float the ship, then empty the barges to make them float again and clear the mess?

A sort of lock system around the ship to float it and get it unstuck.

Funny, when I saw the boat first stuck, I thought of the same thing. And then thought any anchor big enough to work would sink a jetski.

My wife and I bought a new couch and chair at the beginning of Feb and delivery has been moved back a couple times, now to end of May. We’ve been joking that it’s cause they are stuck on The Boat haha and that has added some levity to the situation.

In the 60’s Egypt sunk ships on both ends of the canal and then set out a bunch of mines, ships were stuck in the canal for 8 years. The United States cleaned up the mess in ‘74.
