I am having a problem with my 2008 Sugar Sand Tango Extreme Jet Boat. When it is out of the water and connected to the hose at my house, it starts and runs just fine. However, when I bring it to the water, it will run for the first 15 to 20 minutes, then it just stalls out. I had someone look at it, and they told me it could be overheating and not getting enough water to cool down. He then recommended flushing the boat with Barnacle Buster, but that does not seem to have worked. The fuel filter and pump have recently been replaced, along with the oil and spark plugs.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be?

You could put a temp gun on it and see how hot it is when it's running good for five-ten minutes vs. when it's stalling out.

However, I'd think you'd have something else going on. Almost sounds like the fuel is stopping - check your tank vent and your fuel lines for kinks? Is that a carb'd motor - maybe consider cleaning the carb?
