Kinda makes me want to take a trip to visit....... nah I'm good. Lol. Looks like it was a great trip!
My friends from up there always can come south to visit us instead.
Miss the food mostly. Tough to get RI quality food here in Eastern NC.

There is something magical about RI; still the coast manages to stay uncommercialized and not overdeveloped, for the most part.
I'm thinking of trying for next year, but it is really intimidating, I can swim for miles in a pool, or a lake, but the ocean - boy, is that a different story.
ocean distance swimming is not for everyone, lol. Beisel is swimming to Block Island...
