i have a 2005 sr230 and the tach came out of hole on dashboard and do i take the screws off the face cover on dashboard to reconnect or from the other side of dashboard as this happened during storage and is there a hangar or something that holds this in place

thanks doug

If it's like mine, you can do it with or without taking off the dash, but taking off the dash is easier. Once off, you will probably find clips or so that held it. Usually the point of failure is pretty evident then (missing nut, etc.).

thanks--i will try tomorrow --i am assuming you are talking about the screws that hold the covering on over the gages--- is there any type of glue or apoxey ? thanks again

Don't remember if they are clips or bolts with nuts or what. Certainly not epoxy--these are parts that do get replaced...
