Too cool NOT to post. . . . .

That is crazy! I have a 2005 Honda Repsol CBR1000. I haven't been on it much since I had my kids. A few time a year in the last 3yrs. All my free time (and money) now go's to the boat. Needless to say my wife now wants me to sell the bike.

My mother scared me out of ever wanting a motorcycle at the age of 7 or so by introducing me to one of her patients (she is a registered nurse). The guy was an amputee (one of his legs) who got in a motorcycle accident in which his bike landed on him and caught fire. Rather than burn, he reached in his saddle bag, took out a knife/machete and cut off his own leg below the knee. My mom was his nurse at the hospital twice, once when he first came in and again when they did a revision (cut more off/above the knee). We just happened to see this guy at a barber shop so it wasn't staged at all. My bother didn't get the same lesson and still rides a super bike even though he has three young kids. When I offer to pay him to stop riding and sell his bike he looks at me like I'm nuts.
