tow ropes and tubes

Buckbuck you need the tube touching the water every once in a while if just to get their hair wet to help keep the wind from blowing it in their eyes.

No kidding, this is a discussion about Tubes not Kites!

@buckbuck was that mounted to the tower to get that kind of air?

Definitely. Look at the angle of the rope...

@tdonoughue You're assuming the boat wasn't equally high off the water. ;)

Actually, the boat would need to be MUCH higher off the water, @Bill D . Like 10 feet. Equal would still get you a nearly-level rope.

But you are correct. I did assume. Gotta cut that out.

The Big Mable is awesomw. we have the 2 person version. Kids like the different tow points. we've had it for 4 seasons, it's getting faded only because I kept it in the boat and it sticks out from the cover in the sun.

I ended up purchasing the SportsStuff Chariot Warbird 2-Person Towable Tube from Overton. I figure it was multipurpose and would serve perfectly for the young and the older individuals.

I just want to update this. I checked with Overton on the status of the tube as I paid extra for fast shipping and I had not receive an email saying it was shipped. I spoke with customer service and explained that. She looked up the product and low and behold it said it shipped in 5 to 7 days. Even though I was at fault they agreed to refund the additional amount I paid for shipping. To me that is very good customer service so I though I would mention it.[flag]

Take whatever costco has....can't go wrong. Stay away from a hot dog. Unstable, and check out where I busted my shoulder at 4.10....you hit alot harder than you expect. We love the disc types best. Just get anything on Amazon after the season and stock up. My garage has about 7 hanging from the rafters.

Agree. We also go to Academy at the end of the season and clean up their stock.
