I got out as an ET1
Served on multiple land units on both coasts, and spent three years on a 378 foot cutter out of Hawaii that was just decommissioned Friday.

I finally got down to the Marine Corps Museum last summer. Thought it was awesome. Also took my son, 13 at the time who has Asperger's, so I wasn't sure if he was going to be bored or not. he was engaged the whole time, asking questions and said that he loved it at the end.

They actually have it very well laid out, with some really interactive displays. . . . . . I think they are currently closed for renovations at the moment.

force recon 7 tours vietnam. He served with many great people and died on sept 14 th 2014 of cancer.

the flag in the pic is what his squad had made for him when they got stateside. He lost one guy, and the entire squad was together the entire time.

He was my best friend.
