Wake Board Rack

ok.... sorry for posting this but I did read every post about racks. Looking at the monster racks w/swivel. The only thing is it states that it fits towers with 2.5" diameter tubes. It is my understanding that ours is 2 3/8". I have noticed that a few members have gone with this rack. Any issues? Will it work with 2016 240? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if this is one of the threads you've been able to browse? @swatski was able to secure a pair of OEM racks for his 2016 240. I have them to, but I ended up finding mine like new for sale.

These racks are absolutely great. We use them for everything including a ZUP board which is ridiculously large, no issues.
Once properly set up/leveled they keep the load nicely balanced, no wiggle or slumping over time typical with several cheap swivel racks I have had in the past.

Two issues I would consider very minor are:
I needed to re-glue the rubber insert liners in the forks
With heavy loads I need to prop the rack up to release the pin - to swing the rack around inside or out.

I do dose the hinges with crc6-56 and rubber inserts with 303AP, it's a habit, lol.

So the fact that it's 2.5 does not make a difference? This is the same holder as OE just half the cost. I agree w/you that they look great but just worried that I'm missing something. Damn Yamaha why do a 100% mark up you greedy fools.

Well, those things are rated be the internal diameter (ID), I guess the same as PVC pipes and some plumbing supplies, which can be super confusing.

All I can tell you is this: the part number I shopped delivered the exact fit, no rubber shims or collars required, for the rear leg of the 2016 AR240 tower.
