According to Fedex my Monster combo rack w/ swivel mount is waiting for me at home.
What is the best place to mount it on the AR195 tower? Without looking at it in person yet I was thinking maybe an inch or two below the bimini pole mount point.
Also a bit worried I should have ordered the 1 7/8” bracket but I ordered the 2” one.
I’ll know soon enough.

With the powdercoating on the tower the brackets wont fit very well with the 1-7/8 inserts, with the 2" ones you can build up some space with some kind of tape to get them to fit nice.

I actually mounted mine low on the front of the tower with the 2-3/8 inserts

Glad to hear that. Maybe the 2” was the best choice after all

Why did you decide to place them there? I thought about that but it seemed like it would be less accessible there.

I put mine port side just a few inches above the bottom. Found that gave me the best visibility.

Having had the racks front and back I don't notice a difference in ease of accessibility.. But I don't have the swivel mounts either. I would def. mount them on the rear of the tower.

Also I believe the photo above is of a generic wakeboard rack? (Looks like my old one), which oddly enough fits better than the Monster brackets out of the box and for a fraction of the price.

it caught my eye right away mine is white and always looks dirty and nasty.

im 6'-1" and was concerned with hitting my head on them...that a problem with you?

I'm 6'-2" and hit my head on my soundbar about 3-4 times a season. I can't imagine how often I would do that if I had some giant can speakers up there.

You shorter fellas got it made in this area!

also 6-1, but haven’t had too many issues hitting me head on them. Maybe once every few outings.

Not that one but they have rotating ones.

I have found that if your wake boarding or wake surfing, the higher your rack is the more likely your rope will get hung up on the rack/boards while picking up a downed boarder.
I’ve been thinking about moving my rack higher, because the rope is always getting hung up on the board when we are getting situated to take off. Guess we can’t win. Lol

I have that same issue also.

So what size rack works on the AR195? I was trying to order from store my board.com and from my measurements it looks like the rear tube of the tower is 2 3/16 which is in between clamp sizes (2, 2 1/4, 2 3/8, 2 1/2). The guys at storemyboard.com said if it's not an exact match it won't fit and there's no rubber inserts to make it work.
