I feel your pain. When ever I put a pre made Apple playlist on some one always complains about the songs. Radio makes that a lot easier.
 
Spotify also has a custom equalizer in the app. It seems to work pretty well since that feature was removed on the new boats.
 
Apple music with a student discount. ;)
