That was my first post. I've been creeping on the blog sense I bought my boat In 2017, i read your post all the time. Not big on mods yet, looking to up grade the stereo this spring/summer. ? and now that my y.e.s. warranty is up I am going to remove the ribbon.

I have installed two plug lights. Not real bright but cheap and no holes in the boat.

2020 Grand Cherokee V6. Barely notice it behind me. Had 18 Toyota Highlander before it and night and day difference.

What kind of mileage? I’ve got a grand Cherokee Trailhawk to pull mine and get about 12.5 at 72, 13 at 60-65, 14 at around 55 backroads to a lake. Is yours similar? Just curious as we have 2 18 grand Cherokees and thinking of downsizing 1 to a Cherokee maybe pull occasionally with it

I am getting right around the same as you. I have towed with a Ram and it was not much better. The Highlander on the other hand, I was lucky to get 10mpg.

LOL, no sag at all apparently! Love it.
Quick question what was the ball Height to keep level? Have similar issue with my vehicle.

Just picked it up and yet to tow...

Do you happen to know the height of the top of the 2” hitch ball? Getting mixed answers to this question. Also, at that high was the trailer level?

No I am I think about 3 inches low...the trailer should be around 19-20 inches to be level...my ball is at 18 inches and then it sank an inch with the weight, so I am looking to raise my ball up 3 inches if possibleBA108D21-2C36-4784-ADFB-D90AF55815A4.jpeg

Appreciate the quick reply. The receiver that I purchased had the top ball height at 19”. So, might be a couple inches short depending

Or it might be bang on....it's hard to tell from that picture that the dealer sent me, exactly where the top of the trailer contacts the ball

My vehicle is a Land Rover Evoque and the hitch was at 13”. So, I was able to get a new receiver and the top of the ball up to 19”. So, depending on the rear sag with the SUV might need a few more inches. But, seems like this should work out for the immediate Future. Thanks for the quick reply and good luck with the boat.
