Honestly, I just like my truck. I bought it brand new in 2007 and it's been payed off for years. I just love the power and the way it drives. Wife's car is great and she would rather me take hers but I just have this odd voice in my head saying "You have a truck, use that!"
We've spent the last 3 weeks on a fairly steep ramp... we put in 4x4 every time. Probably not required... just a good safety net and I felt a good help for the wife as the designated truck driver. I think she's getting into the habit of turning it on each time she backs down the ramps.

So just a little update.

Took the boat out both Saturday and Sunday this weekend and had an absolute blast! Love everything about the boat! Handles chop surprisingly well for a smaller V hull.

Since my truck already had the hitch in it we just decided to take it. When we got to the launch I walked down the ramp and inspected. There were no slippery parts and the grade was not steep. Launched and loaded the boat just fine with zero tire spinning.

Cant wait to go back out this weekend!GOPR0341.JPG
