Turns out it has another use, my rear cushions are pretty tough to get out but I've noticed they are getting easier as the boat ages/get used.
I saw a member here build a PVC hold down for his rear seats while towing, I think this could be an easy way to have a multi-use tool.
I simply tuck it under the bolsters on the side and lock it in, worked for a few 2 hour trips so far.
