XR1800 (2 stroke) Maximun Cylinder Head Temperature

Hi All!

After losing a motor I decided to install cylinder head temp gauges so I know how hot the motors gets, figured this was cheap insurance! My last boat was a 4 stroke so I knew what the max safe temp was on that, however with 2 strokes I have no idea.

Does anyone have any advice as to what is the max temp the engines should be allowed to get too?
