look in the engine compartment on the starboard wall is a black plastic circle cover, unscrew it and take it off, inside is a jumble of wires and you should see the connectors to disconnect, they should be labeled somewhere starboard and port but if not disconnect one and just bump your engine and see what tach is NOT working,
Isn't there a way to run Windows 7 in a dumbed down way that makes it XP compatable? I swear somebody said that.Crap. I bought the software 3 years ago......when XP was still a viable option. I guess I will find out...
My YDS adapter came in and it is a 3 wire plug. When I located the connection using the help above (thank you) in my 2005 SX 230 it was a 4 wire connection? I am guessing they sent me the wrong adapter?
I'm not in the engine compartment, I was attempting to connect to the wires in the starboard hatch that were tagged for the engines.Probably not, my guess would be you have the wrong connector,
Can you give us both a close up of the connection and further back so we can see where you're at in the engine compartment
