Yet another JL audio upgrade

Where are they going?

I know this is an audio thread but is that carpet or the snap in Seadek?

Nice install....that's one of the locations I was thinking about adding some speakers.

It's low so wind doesn't impeded it but not to low to where it's at your feet....although I was only thinking of putting a single driver...two is even better!!

What are you powering those with?

Do you have the WS Alink? That's my next upgrade so I can connect with a few buddies who have nice systems.

Its on the 6/600 JL on 2 channels. Yes i have Alink. Its alot of fun.

So the weather looks good down here in FL today. Should be able to get this monster out on the water and see what she can do.

Sounds great...with them pointing straight back you get great output towards the back of the boat which is great since your getting max output in the front as well.

I might very well follow suite as it solves my issue of adding more sound in the bow, and a by product of projected sound towards the rear which means the people in the cabin should benefit as well.

How did you decide on this location?

FYI there is a circle jig for the dremel that is only a few bucks, well worth it.

Got it cycle springs here in clearwater fl when i got the boat. They cut the snaps in to match where the carpet went

I didn't realize you were in Clearwater, where do you guys go out ?

Interesting location. I assume this prevents you from using the anchor holder with an anchor? Do you have a photo of the locker with the speakers installed to show how far they intrude? Did you cover the insides at all?
Not to bad at all. I think you can still it. Ill take some pics then i get home. 20180331_145528.jpg 20180331_143903.jpg
