I am curious what B&G products that you are using?
This was not Yamaha related...But I was looking to add Raymarine chartplotter, sonar and radar to a 35' sailboat we just surveyed. It has some very outdated B&G instruments I was looking to upgrade/replace with more modern nav. aids. @ClemsonTiger , kindly, suggested B&G as their stuff is geared more towards sailing vessels and he was correct. Now looking at B&G Vulcan 9 with a forward scan thru hull sonar with broadband radar. My choice of auto pilot is still up in the air.

The post contains cursing but does not direct that toward any individual.

Perhaps you would like to prepare a brief arguing why it infringes upon Our Rules and Regulations of Operation?

If so we will give it objective consideration.

No, I am by no means an expert on the ORRO. I was under a misunderstanding that if offense was taken then it was inappropriate...I came to that misunderstanding via prior interactions and justifications...

Thank you for clarifying :winkingthumbsup"

The process would give you a good opportunity to study those rules.

Perhaps you will arrive at an argument to change my opinion.

OK, I’ve had my fun...I’m done with this thread

Well @Bruce, it does appear that the rules are monitored for infraction inconsistently. While I will be the first to admit to violating the rules listed below and have been "reprimanded" for it. The Admins need not look beyond this thread to see multiple instances of rule violations by other members, yet...no action is taken via removing repeated dislikes or removing of certain posts or language within those posts.

I assume different treatment for different members is the norm and to be expected?

"It is inappropriate for members to repeatedly use the "Dislike" or Thumbs down post ratings as retaliation to other members with whom they have a disagreement."

"Forum Content must not:
-Be abusive, disrespectful, harassing or hostile and must not haze or attack others."

If the Admins claim no knowledge of the violations in this thread, please let me know and I will be more than happy to supply. :winkingthumbsup"

This is a good ole Jerry Springer thread.

It started out as a YouTube video high-jacking, turned into a cooler discussion, and then went right into jet boat steering sucks rampage.

13 pages later I totally forgot about where we left off with the OP @Foobar

I think he gave up.

Man I would just move forward. I tell my guys " It is impossible to move forward, if you keep looking back."

Other than spammers, we have never banned anyone from this forum. I would like to keep it that way.

There is way more disrespect in this thread than I would like from many sources. However there is one clear instigator.

I am hopeful that this thread will deescalate and we will return to discussing our shared love of boating.

I couldn’t agree more @Bruce .

If “instigation” could be defined, it would be greatly beneficial.

Does it entail anything communicated in less than glowing/exalted regard for any brand well represented on this board?

The last thing I want to do is instigate an entire board to group attack and bash myself or any other member here.

All rainbows and sunshine please!

If you would like it defined, see any post you've made in the last several months. You know exactly what it is, and who knows for what reason. GTF over yourself and your prior purchases, or GTFO. Grow up.
