The other thing about this board is I (we all) have posted round each other for YEARS on the other board and have came to kind of know one another. When there is a topic at discussion we know there doesn't have to be a smart ass comment, we all learn from each other in a respectable manner, like adults should.

Jet Boat forums are my first experience with any forum and I only belong to this site, the other jetboat site and nothing else. Just never had a need I guess. Now that I have had the opportunity to be a boat owner I understand the value of being a member and contributor. That being said, I never would have guessed that my forum lurking would turn into being part of a community of people that I have never met, yet am interested in their recommendations, thoughts and opinions! Cheers to all and thanks for letting me play in the sandbox.

One thing I really like about this community is that people don't piss on you for asking questions that may be obvious to them but not to you. I felt YJB was similar in that regard, mainly because of this group.

There doesn't?? Crap, I guess I should have read that Code of Conduct!
Oh, wait, I just remembered. According to my buddy's wife I'm a dumbass, so that doesn't apply to me.

Many of us learned what it was like to be under "Lock and Key" and dont want to deal with that ever again. Keep in mind message boards evolve over time and topics will resurface no matter how good the FaQ is, we just have to be Noob tolerant.:pompus:
The only thing I got miffed at is when someone would show up once or twice asking a question, we did the research, posted a likely solution, and never heard back from them ------> :asshat:

Should we assume that the solution worked? If we never hear back how can WE improve OUR knowledge base in order to help others??( I posted this at YJB a while ago and was told to "lighten up"..... So I lightened up my presence over there! o_O)

I never mind answering questions from nOObs cause I was there once! Its always interesting, even if we have seen the problem many times before, and I am still learning about my boat, and all the others! :winkingthumbsup"

I get a little irked when people don't respond not even with a thanks. I just chalked it up to that's just the way people are. I always try to at least say thank you.

I don't mind noobs asking repeat questions 'cause the answers have been pounded into my head for so long that even I can answer and look smart!! :):):):)

I'll admit to at least one of my posts that could have been avoided if I simply read the sticky @Julian so diligently put together. I now know the sticky is there, but pretty sure I'll still start a new thread that could have been answered if I checked the sticky.

(I also like that no one comments on my over use of ! or ... or way too many inappropriate , or ')

The only forums that I've found close to as valuable as this one is the Planet 9 (Porsche Cayman Forum) and Ram Truck forums. The Porsche forum occasionally get's the expected pompous ass, but they get shut down pretty quick. The Ram forum people seem very down to earth and helpful, just too many vendors offering their solutions for my taste.

Where did you get your registration numbers? They look great and I need some new one's.
I ordered them from a site like signspecialist.com I can't remember the actual site I used though, it had the same setup as sign specialist though. I think it was 25$ for both. When I get to work tomorrow I can see exactly what site I used.
I was going to use a local sign shop, but I couldn't find one close that could do the shading and stuff I wanted.

I was never sure what the appreciation protocol is... Because you get great answers and might say thanks...then more answers come in and I just find I am saying thanks over and over....not a bad thing...but I am Canadian so I need to be sorry periodically.
