Nope not yet. All mechanics are backed up by 2 weeks

If it was the timing chain wouldn't one of the spark plugs have a bent tip or be smashed up? I recommend pulling all spark plugs and checking that they aren't bent.

Then spark, fuel, air as was mentioned above.

Post your location and maybe someone local can give you a hand.

The engine sounds normal when turning over. Someone said the fuel filter but I can’t find a mechanic that can get me in.

Found the problem. It was a loose wire running from the electrical box to the engine. It’s the white little piece in the middle of the picture.

Excellent glad you located the issue, just for future reference if a timing chain goes the engine sounds like a high pitched BLENDER when you turn the starter and the fuel in the exhaust can make it backfire

Those are interference engines... valves shatter causing carnage.

Yeah I know carnage will bend a spark plug....a broken timing chain alone won’t damaged a plug- which is how I read the question.
