2016 Sx190 wakeboard tower

So I'm about to pull the trigger on the free ride tower....does anyone here think it'll look weird on the sx192 boats?

Any Photoshop gurus that can put the free ride tower on the sx192 from a side view? :) :) please.

I found one from reborn towers that I like.
The sweep looks adjustable and it seems I can get it to mount where the AR mounts. I'm just not sure if it will adjust to a level tow point.

I took the plunge and ordered the Reborn Launch tower today for a 2013 SX190 after studying on it over the winter. I like the the fact that the base is 20" wide and can mount within the factory reinforced section of the hull. I also like how the tower folds easily either forward or backward. I am also going to try to a side mount in order to try to maintain the factory bimini which could be a tall, if not impossible, task. I looked hard at the MTK from Monster, but it appears to get more narrow at the top which could make preserving the factory bimini more difficult.

Reborn also had a promotion where they included one rack, mirror & arm, and LED Navigation light at no additional cost. Free shipping also. This was considerably less than the MTK (I'm not interested in speakers).

I will hopefully post pics of the install before Memorial Day.

Waiting for photos...

I'm interested as well. The stock mounting positions (front and back) are nice, but they are set ~90" apart ruling out most towers, and none will work with the stock bimini. Due to my garage, I also need a tower that folds below the windshield, and without tools would be nice.

The Reborn Launch Tower isn't going to work with the factory Bimini. The width at the top of the tower is prohibitive even if it is mounted on the side of the boat...you also loose some headroom when mounting on the side. This was about what I expected but was hoping to maybe get lucky. I was short on time yesterday so I decided to think about the various mounting locations/options before drilling holes in the boat.

I will say that I was impressed with the finish and fit of the Reborn Launch. It went together extremely quickly (around 30 minutes) and is a great looking tower imo. Even though it is fairly intuitive, my only complaint is that no instructions were included with the tower. I had to use a single diagram on their website that is small and difficult to distinguish between various pieces of hardware.

Nice job. I would love to see profile shots and know how tall the tower is from the floor. Looks pretty high in the pic.

When you get a chance give us some more pictures.

I don't have any other pictures of interest. The tower is now sitting next to the boat on the floor while I figure out what my next step will be. I'm not all that excited about the bimini top options that are available from reborn as they are significantly smaller and seem awkward to operate/take-down/trailer.

Well, here are some pics of the aerial freeride tower on my 2015 sx192. Finished the install last night.

I think it looks alright.....keeps me from buying a scarab 255ho wake edition.

More importantly, I can now install the wetsounds rev 10 speakers buhuahaha

Looks great. I like black towers on these boats. I assume you are scraping the factory bimini and rolling on without or adding an after-market bimini?

Thanks! Yes, factory bimini is out.

That looks awesome. I think you guys got a winner there with this AF tower!
There are some options for biminis with various frame design that could fit the AF. For example, did you look at Origin/Reborn flat biminis? Those are great design, inexpensive and reasonably well made, and could possibly fit. Also great for hauling stuff on top, like big boards, even tubes.

I just got my mtx tower done today. Heading out for the weekend to test it out

Sadly enough, I couldn't get her all done for memorial day; however, here she..... all finished:

Thanks for posting pics of the Aerial tower. Can you provide final height to bars and inside width right under speakers, for bimini of course.

Here is my mtk tower I used the side mount and reinforced on the side wall. Hopefully I don't have any issues.

Can you provide a pic folded back? What is your height to bar, speakers?

Thanks

I love the look of side mounting this tower. I have had mine on since late last summer, and beside the top being off level by about 20 degrees (like your first picture) we love it. Have had no problems so far but did loctite all the bolts. I am currently having my machine shop at work make a riser for the back to level my tower, but it is a slow process seeing how they are always busy. Looks great and keep us posted on how the side mounting does.
