My side mount ended up right in the concave portion of the top hull, so I made a filler out of heavy duty plywood and fiber-glassed in place. The back legs came out perfectly on a nice flat spot on the hull. I am very happy with the Cuda tower. Had a custom bimini made, the factory bimini was a no go n fit...The manual said 6 hours to to this job, it took me much longer, the planning is key and drilling holes in your boat sucks. So make sure it right.
