2022 Yamaha Boat Updates

That makes sense having the hard tank further back which you would think would eliminate the need for a fatsac but I see most with the XD’s still need a fatsac for a good wave. So I’m not 100% sure losing all this space is worth it for storage if it didn’t help make the wave big enough.
only allowed to add so much weight legally based on base weight of boat and have an advertised person capacity. Jetboats dont have the deadrise like conventional wake boats and never will, so the listing with additional weight on surf side is a necessity.

The 255XD's wake is surely improved from it, but the 1200 or so pounds it maxes out at is still a fraction of what you get in purpose built wake boats. A Moomba Makai for example has up to 4000lbs. From that perspective anyone buying a Yamaha wake boat should expect the integrated ballast to just be a starting point.

So my dealer also confirmed color, model, and price release date on Aug 17th and said they have meeting with yamaha at 1000 that morning.

@Chris W. Have you seen the threads here. 2022's have already been delivered to customers and there is a lot of info on them.

Seen a couple 27' footers delivered on Facebook already. I will see if I can find the posts.

The red is a great color on that boat.

2022 ar250 base price 65,999.00
This is right around what someone eluded to on facebook the other day. I can handle a $5k increase. I was bracing for twice that.

My 275 is black cherry. It is a great color! I do feel for all you guys having all the fit and finish issues with the bots that were delivered this year. Mine was one of the really early 2021’s to be produced so covid was in full swing but there weren't all the labor shortages yet so my boat came through in fantastic shape. Other than an anchor locker leaking, i have zero complaints

Talked to a couple dealers about 2022 options, and it looks like delivery and dealer prep went up as well. Anyone else able to confirm? I inquired about a ‘22 255 FSH sport e and quote was $4k for delivery and prep.

That's set by each dealer, not by Yamaha. For example, my dealer charged $2200 last year (no idea what they're charging now) while I heard some dealers were charging 4-5K last year.

Did not know that……I just assumed that was established by Yamaha. Similar to how it’s done in automotive.
