Anclote Sand Bar

Soon brother, soon !
Spent the day settling in my new place. Installed new dishwasher, front door lock, dimmer switch for kitchen light, pulled out nasty outdoor carpet in lanai, cleaned and prepped for new outdoor carpet to install today.... busy

Anyone hitting the sandbar this weekend? We’re planning to go Sunday morning ‘ish

SAT sound great !
My boat should be in the water.
We can look for places to put speakers then !

That's a very slippery slope to start going down lol. One pair of speakers is like a gateway drug

We will on the water Sunday, but have a few other groups of people to keep in mind. Will see if I can convince them to make the trip north.

Can you all make to honeymoon? We can all meet up there if you all want

I will talk to them today and see if I can convince them of that, usually Honeymoon is our second choice if we don't do Bunces. Shoot me a PM with your number.

After talking to my buddies I think were are going to aim to make it Anclote sometime in the middle of May. We figured since we don't know the area well (at all) the 5th and 31st probably aren't the best days to go.

Well let us know we are out there almost every weekend

Are there any public ramps you guys recommend? Anything easy to get to from 19?

Here ya go...
Anclote River Park is in the lower right corner.
The "usual spot" is on the north end of Anclote island. But sometimes on the sand bar OFF of the north end.
Stay in the marked channel on the way out, hang a right, then left where you can see the deeper cut on the map.
Head towards the beach that is facing NE.
