@ArmyChief posted this on Facebook

"I died yesterday morning at the end of a 4 mile run. The Army PA & ambulance people were able to resuscitate me with chest compressions & electroshock.

I'm currently in Orange Park Medical Center awaiting a double bypass in a few days. Sorry, I didn't post earlier, but I've had some Great Soldier visitors keeping me company. Plus, my wife and son got here last night."

Let's all keep him in our prayers or positive thoughts and wish him well!

Holy sh!t! Scary!

Best wishes to @ArmyChief and his family as they work their way through this.
Bless those skilled medics, too.

@ArmyChief get well soon it's almost time to get the boat out! When I took my CPR/AED and wilderness first aid class a few months ago they were pretty nonchalant about CPR being effective and don't be surprised if they die. Glad your medics had it right!

Holy cow buddy this stuff is scary just had this happen to a close friend as well he came out of surgery feeling better then he had in years I hope it's the same for you @ArmyChief

Get well soon, it's almost boating season!

Super scary...keep us posted. So glad there were people around him to give immediate help. Everyone should be up to date on their cpr/aed training.

Thoughts and prayers for you @ArmyChief Get well soon.

Get well soon @ArmyChief . A buddy of mine had the same thing just happen to him, if it weren't for the nurses in his group and the paramedics being close by he probably wouldn't have made it. But now after surgery and recovery he feels stronger than before. Hoping for a speedy and strong recovery.

@ArmyChief , you are most definitely in our prayers. We know you will have a speedy recovery and be up and around before you know it.
