Bimini July 1-8 2019 - Others welcome to join us - This trip is ON!

If you haven't downloaded the CBRoam app from customs and border protection, do so! It makes re-entry into the US so much easier. Do a video call from the boat and done. Saves having to go to their office.

@Sbrown @Christiana @Wytiger

Forecast continues to look good for monday......but the raindrops are back....but the seas are calmer and period widened to 8 seconds.

I was one of the beta testers for this last year and I can confirm it works well and is quick and painless

No tracking of the group tomorrow....we plan to reach marina at 8 and depart as soon after as we can depending on parking.

Conditions look terrible..... .3 foot seas at 9 seconds.....:)
Wow, looks like you guys are in for the ride of your lives... It may be a whole 90 minutes before you guys get there :D:D:D

Have a good trip!

So are they there yet ?

What I envision is a fan that is thermostat controlled... but the thermostate would need to be really close to the amps to trigger....

so are they having too much fun and they never arrived ? Or they arrived and they are so excited they forgot to pos that they arrived ? or are they not working about our blood pressure going to 200!

Hate being in the dark (or left behind)...

I wonder how much power outages will effect what we hear from them? Hopefully not but I believe that the phone service was down after a power outage recently.

very good excuse bruce, I bet they are Sapona and not thinking of the loosers they left behind :banghead::banghead::banghead:

We are here!

No power because supposedly they are adding 2 more generators this afternoon.

Crossing was 1 footers with the occasional higher waves.....wavier than predicted but very easy. Lots of sargassum weeds.

Ty Julian!

Please keep us posted.

We arrive next Friday on our way to Exumas.

Power yesterday was out from 8am until 1030pm at Bimini Sands. Then it stayed on overnight and was on till 6am. Then it's been on and off since then, and on for the last hour. Hoping they've stabilized it now.

Bit windy right now....so working up a plan of attack.

Probably head to N Bimini for Ice.

All 4 boats made it with no issues other than the weeds and needing gas (in the 19 footers).

Weather is beautiful....we are heading to the pool.

So what 19 footers are with you?

I assume (from what I have read) An AR195 will need to refuel regardless of the waves?
