Bimini July 1-8 2019 - Others welcome to join us - This trip is ON!

Mine were long striations cut by sharp teeth. That is what led me to believe that it was the lemon and not the nurse that got me. I was looking away at the time. Entirely my fault.

Did you clean the wounds well? I let mine bleed for a while then rinsed with rum on the boat and anti bacterial soap in the condo. The daily saline baths that followed were a bit unpleasant but likely helped to heal the wound. I only have a small scar left to show for it.

Looks like you gave the middle finger to the shark @Bruce.

Fortunately he only wanted a little bit of my middle finger. I was not looking and he could have had the whole thing.

I think @Bruce is the winner here in the "I got shredded by a shark more" contest!

Power went out last night at some point but I've no idea how long it was out. Back on when I woke up in the morning. I like to have some air moving, so I brought along some battery powered fans.....I just reached over and turned it on. (Fan lasts for hours and is rechargeable)

Last day in paradise....good ones of @Sbrown boat with the sapona in the back ground.

Our ride back was super smooth and all the storms dissipated as we approached. Crossed in 2:06!

Made it just in time as the heavens opened up in Ft Lauderdale shortly after arrival....tornado sirens going off...we went to Wendy's and had to wait inside until it calmed down enough to get back to the car.

Glad to hear it was a fairly easy trip back home!

So what 19 footers are with you?

I assume (from what I have read) An AR195 will need to refuel regardless of the waves?
I went 6/23-6/28 in a 2019 AR 195. Made it easily with 25% (10 gallons) left in both directions. I did have an extra 10 gallons on board just in case. It was glass going over, coming back started off 1-2 foot chop, got organized into 2-4s about 20 miles from Florida.

That's the nice thing about the 2019's - the 40 gal. tank instead of 30 now.

We were running about 30 mph. 6000-6300 rpm in my 212LS.

Used 35 gallon
