No faith?!? You are assuming I would get caught? ?We’ll all pitch in for bail. lol
Our deposit was July 17thI spoke to my dealer in VA today and heard stickers and windshields... he received three this week and the truck driver said the lot at the factory was full of boats. He is transporting everyday with very little rest up and down the east coast.
Hope they get the warning stickers, glass, and switches in soon.
Deposit on July 21... still waiting and watching the end of season drawing near...
I’m not sure how Yamaha works, but I know that BMW allocates each dealer a certain number of cars depending on a whole bunch of things. This makes a difference for their lower production models, like the M series. Higher volume dealers get more allocations than lower volume dealers. For hot selling models, a dealer isn’t going to give up an allocation because they can charge a premium to buyers. So smaller dealers have to wait for production to catch up.I do not understand Yamaha’s logic ?!?!? Why are they shipping boats to dealers who have no deposits? Meanwhile we have folks who have had deposits and have been waiting well over three months. This truly is a SHIT SHOW on their end.

I have asked myself the same thing. Why are other dealers in my area receiving boats while my dealer is not? The next closest delarship to mine has already recived 15 pre sold boats and I think they have another 5 comming in today. My dealer told me back at the beginning of July that he was only allocated 5 pre sale boats. At that time, my dealer was the only dealership in Texas that even knew about the pre sale boats. Belive me, I called every dealership in the state. None of them knew about a presale. Naturaly, I thought my dealer had some inside pull and I was getting a jumpstart on a presale. Incase anyone was wondering, I was the very first person to put a deposit on a pre slae in Texas...Yeah OK. My dealer has recived two boats, neither were mine.I do not understand Yamaha’s logic ?!?!? I’m not surprised that your dealer was the only one to know about pre-sales. My short experience with boat dealers is that most are clueless, just poor salesmen, or don’t give a crap about my business. I knew more about Yamaha boat details then they did. One major dealer in the Milwaukee area told me in mid-August that Yamaha hadn’t starting shipping the 2021’s yet, even though people on this forum had already received them.I have asked myself the same thing. All very good points. The dealers are at the mercy of the company. My dealer had 5 pre-release boats and only four came in. My deposit was put down in July but the order to the factory was not submitted until August. I don’t think Yamaha will accept orders until after the dealers meeting/new boat announcements. If all of the dealers are submitting orders on the same day or couple of days, I’m sure the queue is somewhat distorted between dealers. I think my dealer will use the chronology to distribute boats that he gets in but if another dealer got ahead of him in YDS, my boat may be delivered to me after someone who put down a deposit in August at another dealer... I am waiting on a yacht blue 195s. He has delivered a suede gray 195s to another person who put a deposit down after me. His fault? Not really, it’s just what Yamaha was able to deliver. Yamaha waiting on parts sucks but assigning blame really doesn’t get the parts any faster. I’m confident that the parts suppliers want to supply them and get paid. Yamaha doesn’t get paid until they ship the boats, my dealer doesn’t get paid until I roll that boat off of his lot. I’m sure everyone is working to get some money from everyone that is waiting for a boat.
This makes sense. The dealerships that I have seen receiving boats are high volume.I’m not sure how Yamaha works, but I know that BMW allocates each dealer a certain number of cars depending on a whole bunch of things. I‘m not sure if it’s the case here, but I would suspect it is.
My dealer has ordered just shy of 100 boats and has deposits on more than half. He sells Regals as well and tells me he is backed up on those too. He fears he will have no boats in the showroom/lot and there is no way he will be able to go to boat shows if this keeps up.All very good points.

My 252SE and an AR250 were delivered to my dealer in NC yesterday. I went to see mine today and I'm picking it up Tuesday. Order was placed mid-August, the week the new 25' line up was announced, and I was told to expect it between the end of September and November. See the thread below for pics, etc. of mine:Just saw on FB a 252SE was delivered in TN.
The order was placed in August, they were not expecting Delivery untill Dec. Good for these folks.

They wouldn’t let us put a deposit down until the date of the lineup release in August. Put one down that day for a 252SE, nonrefundable, said that secured us a VIN number. Specifically told no ETA given by Yamaha and no information on any timing so we knew that before making the decision to put deposit down. They called us Friday and said they had an unexpected delivery of a 25 ft boat on the truck and it just so happened to be ours. Said they were told estimated January delivery date so they were no where near expecting one to show. I know of two others that got their 252SEs in on Tuesday. Other than that I’ve not heard about any 25 ft boats being delivered yet.So who has a deposit on a 2021 Yamaha jet boat and is still patiently waiting?
Location, Florida.
